Edge and Cross Fingers developer Mobigame has released a new iPhone game to the App Store, based on a viral music video sensation from band Flairs.
The video of the same name, which has garnered over a million views on YouTube, featured a pixelated trucker chasing a woman through the desert. With obvious allusions to popular arcade classics, Mobigame evidently saw the possibility of turning the scenes into a fully fledged game.
The iPhone app has you driving an 18 wheeler through American landscapes, chasing Alpha Girl and avoiding the cops. Its all drawn in beautiful pixel-art, and looks like classic Sega racer Outrun.
All the art is drawn by Jérémie Perin, and the soundtrack is by Flairs. You can watch the original video on YouTube. But beware: it's pretty raunchy, and definitely not safe for work.
The game's called Episode 1, so we assume you'll being seeing more of the music video in game form, sometime soon. Until then, Trucker's Delight: Episode 1 is available now for iPhone and iPod touch for £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.
